Postoperative wound healing

Each surgical wound is a particular place with a low blood and oxygen supply. This is caused both mechanically, by surgical incision, but also by postoperative swelling of tissues. Postoperative soreness is also associated with this.

Hyperbaric oxygen can provide nutrients for wound healing, reducing swelling and thereby pain. During cosmetic procedures, scar formation is significantly weaker. Even a lower number of sessions in a hyperbaric chamber can significantly accelerate wound healing.
